For the past few weeks I have been struggling , everyday is a struggle when you have an inner demonic voice inside your head: but it’s been even more difficult as of late and I did something that you probably should never do or attempt which is to capture the moment to show people the true reality of this plague let’s call it that we try too balance , I’ll go even further to say that it takes courage & strength to stay alive , to push on but push on I do - I fight it everyday . We all know that men sadly suffer a lot more and unfortunately commit suicide not out of weakness but out of strength ,out of holding on to a life that too them is falling apart and people or loved ones not giving them or getting them help or even support.. for as many men who commit suicide there are as Many not far. Behind waiting in the wings just waiting for that one person to give them the support they need instead of pushing them away. A free bird leaps on the back of the wind and floats downstream till the current ends and dips his wing in the orange sun rays and dares to claim the sky but a bird that stalks down his narrow cage can seldom see through his bars of rage his wings are clipped and his feet are tied so he opens his throat to sing, the caged bird sings with a fearful trill of things unknown but longed for still and his tune is heard ion the distant hill for the caged bird sings for freedom the free bird thinks of another breeze and the trade winds soft through the sighing trees and the fat worms waiting on a dawn-bright lawn and he names the sky his own . But a caged bird stands in the graves of dreams, his shadow shouts on a nightmare scream, his wings are clipped and his feet are tied so he opens his throat to sing . The caged bird sings with a fearful trill of things unknown but longed for still and his tune is heard on the distant hill for the caged bird sings for freedom. This poem was written by Maya Angelou but it fits the narrative perfectly .
It isn’t weakness , its courage
